I have one of these on my bench right now, no problems whatsoever. Heats up FAST!!! These units use 32v heaters instead of 24v like most other units.
Vacuum pump is a piston type pump very reliable. Reliable analog based circuitry with digital read out.  Temp accuracy is excellent for the money (It's not a Weller, Hakko or a Metcal  so don't be too picky.. :) ).
This is the good model with the Japanese made soldering iron (307A). The newer ones don't have the same soldering iron. The tips for this iron are interchangeable with the Weller  WSP80 Iron, so tip replacements are easy to find. The unit is solid, all metal case with metal handle will last many years down the road.
