The Model 6040-PRO-X has two Temperature Displays on the LED Display (One shows the Temperature of the Hot Air and the other shows the Temperature of the Soldering Iron), a Programmable Sleep Timer for the Soldering Iron (0 to 30 Minutes), an Auto Cool Down for the Hot Air Gun when placed in the Side Holder, a Programmable C/F (Celsius/Fahrenheit) Program, and a Mute/Unmute for the Sounds (Beeps).
This unit also Features a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) Technology Program built into it which is commonly referred to as Magic Temperature Compensation Technology. This program cycles every 20 milliseconds to detect the actual temperature of the soldering iron's heating element/soldering tip and quickly corrects it with a rapid return to the correct set temperature. This Magic Temperature Compensation Technology also helps keep the soldering iron at a constant temperature no matter what type of job you are working on. This unit also has a Self Test Function with Full Intelligence on Over-Temps, Short Circuits, and Overloads.

Included with the X-Tronic 6040-PRO-X Complete Kit is the Main 700 Watt Power Unit (shown in the 1st photo above)
, a 75 Watt Soldering Iron along with a Deluxe Soldering Iron Stand that also has a Brass Sponge Tip Cleaner Enclosed in it and a Patented Hot Air Nozzle Holder attached to the side of the Main Unit. The Hot Air Gun is a 600 Watt Brushless Fan Type with an Auto Cool Down Function (for Safety) that Starts Automatically when placed in the Side Holder. Also Included is 5 Sizes of Hot Air Nozzles (3 Straight & 2 Spiral), 5 Extra Sizes/Styles of Soldering Tips, a Solder Sucker Pen, a Tube of 60/40 Solder, Pinpoint Tweezers & a Roll of X-Tronic Wick (all shown in the 1st photo above).
We used Highly Visible White LED's for the Display Screen on our 6040-PRO-X (shown in the 2nd photo above). You will be Pleasantly Surprised on how Easy it is to read the Numbers and Symbols on the Display. The Top LED Shows the Temperature of the Hot Air Gun and the Bottom LED Shows the Temperature of the Soldering Iron. The Knob on the Left Controls the Air Volume/Speed of the Hot Air Gun, the Knob on the Right Controls the Heat of the Soldering Iron, the two UP and DOWN Buttons Control the Heat Temperature of the Hot Air Gun plus double as Function Buttons that Automatically Control the C/F, the Sleep Function for the Soldering Iron and the Mute/Unmute Sound Function. The Main Power Switch is Located on the Back of this Unit along with a Main Changeable Fuse. The Power Switch for the Hot Air Gun is located on the Left at the Bottom and the Power Switch for the Soldering Iron is located on the Right at the Bottom.
You will Not Believe This! Our Patented "Quick Change" Nozzle Rack (shown in the first photo above) is made so you can easily change Nozzles on your Hot Air Gun without waiting for them to Cool Down and you also don't even have to touch them. You have to see it to believe it as we cannot explain it in words. If you would like to see how this works, just click on the video above as the video shows it being used.
Besides the Wet Sponge included with the Soldering Iron Holder to clean your soldering tips, we have also Included a Brass Sponge (shown in the second photo above) that is located "inside" the soldering iron holder. Take a look at the photo and the Arrow shows where this sponge is located and where you can slide your soldering iron into the Silicone Insert to clean your soldering tip on this Brass Sponge. The Wet Sponge for Cleaning is Conveniently Located just below on the Soldering Iron Holder.
We have also included an Attachable Extension (shown in the 3rd photo above) that will hold your soldering iron cord above the unit to keep it out of your way when you are working. You will absolutely Love this Feature!
The Hot Air Gun Holder is located on the Left Side of the Main Power Unit (shown in the 4th photo above). When you are using the Hot Air Gun (at any temperature) and place it in this holder, the temperature will automatically ramp down to 100°C (Auto Cool Down), the Air will stop blowing and it will then be in a "Stand By" Mode. When you take the Hot Air Gun out of this holder, it will ramp back up to the temperature and air speed that you were using in less than 10 seconds. This is a built in Safety Feature and will also extend the life of the blower motor and the heating element in the Hot Air Gun.
The 6040-PRO-X comes with a 75 Watt Soldering Iron with a Very Comfortable Ergonomic Grip (shown in the first photo above). The Temperature Range of this Soldering Iron is 200°C~500°C/392°F~932°F with a Temperature Stability: ±/1.0°C/1.8°F
The 2nd photo above shows the 5 Extra Sizes/Styles of Soldering Tips that also come with this unit (shown in the 2nd photo above). There is 1 of Each of the Following Sizes/Styles Included: 1 Each T-1, 1 Each T-B, 1 Each T-3C, 1 Each T-2.4D, and 1 Each T-K. All Soldering Tips are manufactured from High Quality Copper and Coated with Nickel Chromed Alloys for Strengthening the Hardness of the Tips.
The Hot Air Gun (shown in the 3rd photo above) that comes with this unit has a Brushless Fan Motor in it that is controlled by the Air Speed Knob along with a Heavy Duty Heating Element and has a Temperature Range of 100°C - 500°C/212°F - 932°F with a Temperature Stability of ±1.8°F/1.0°C
and an Air Volume of 23L/M.
5 Different Sizes/Styles of Hot Air Nozzles come with this unit (shown in the 4th photo above). There are 3 Straight Nozzles (5 mm, 7 mm & 10 mm) and 2 Spiral Nozzles (8 mm & 10 mm).
For your Convenience we have added a Soldering Sucker De-soldering Pump included with this Complete Package (shown in the 1st photo above). This Tool has a Good Bit of Suction and its Simple Design allows Easy One Handed Use with its Compact and Light Weight Design.
There is also a Roll of 60-40 (Tin-Lead) Rosin Core Soldering in a Dispenser Tube (shown in the 2nd photo above). The Size of the Solder is 0.039" (1 mm) in Diameter and the Weight is 0.42 Ounces (12 g). This Pocket Pack of Solder Wire is easy to store and/or keep in your pocket for easy access.
The 3rd photo above shows the Precision Tweezers that also comes with this Unit. These Pinpoint Tweezers are made of Stainless Steel that is Anti-Static with a Non-Magnetic Baked on Paint used on the Surface which is Resistant to most Acids and other Corrosive Substances.
We have also included a Roll of X-Tronic Wick for removing molten solder quickly and easily. The Width is 2.0mm and the Length is 1.5 meters. As you all know, this will come in Handy on most all of your soldering jobs.
